· Coach applicants on interview, resume, and application skills as well as navigating the hiring process in the UN system.
· Disseminate general informational on UN hiring process and opportunities for U.S. citizens via IO Careers website.
· Facilitate workshops on UN hiring process and opportunities for U.S. citizens.
· Conduct virtual outreach to U.S. universities on opportunities at the UN.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
10 years' experience in international organizations (particularly the UN), international managerial and human resources, coaching, consulting, or other related fields.
Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years or more work experience in international organizations, international managerial and human resources, particularly within the UN system.
- Experience teaching, coaching, and mentoring professionals on UN hiring process in the UN system.
- Experience facilitating and delivering workshop on UN recruitment and hiring processes.
- Ability to solve problems and encourage consistent, solid performance.
- English language (written and spoken) communications skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate activities in multiple locations, act decisively in daily work, and work well in a multi-cultural team environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently to assess priorities and manage daily coordination of details with minimal supervision.
