SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER - PART TIME We are seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time high school Social Studies teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
- Design and implement engaging and effective lesson plans aligned with the school's Social Studies curriculum and standards.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
Instruction:
- Deliver dynamic and interactive instruction to high school students.
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and literacy among students.
- Provide clear explanations of concepts and facilitate hands-on learning experiences when applicable.
Assessment and Feedback:
- Assess student learning through various methods, including quizzes, tests,, and class participation.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents as needed.
Classroom Management:
- Establish a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Enforce school policies and procedures while promoting a culture of respect and cooperation among students.
Professional Development:
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in education.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Previous teaching experience at the high school level is desirable.

Schedule:
