DEI Senior Program Manager
Key Role:
Brings forward knowledge and experience in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB). Delivers with expertise in strategy, program management, and people management to do transformational work at an organizational level and supports the development and delivery of our DEI strategy and programming with direct business impact while overseeing a team of program and project managers and manages the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level DEI programs and initiatives, including named programs, including Belonging Initiative, High Visibility Opportunities. Supports the development and delivery of firmwide DEI strategy in collaboration with DEI leadership, contributing to YoY increase in diversity representation and annual employee experience scores and drives planning, strategy, implementation, and management of the firm’s current Unstoppable Together portfolio across all internal and external platforms. Leads strategic planning of the platform evolution, and maintains the complementary digital library. Processes and tracks program related expenses and invoices. Maintains DEI content updates for all digital communication channels and internal and external facing sites. Develops and publishes DEI artifacts and manages firm system related updates and integration, such as annual career profile updates while collaborating across HR and corporate functions to influence and implement system and process change commitments included in the firmwide DEI Strategy. Leads programmatic change management initiatives from strategy to full delivery. Consults with senior leadership as required to advise on ESG, DEI, and social matters and can contribute to talking points and briefings on matters for Culture, Diversity and Inclusion with Executive Councils, C-Suite, and CEO as tasked and acts as a DEI lead on large programs and initiatives that affect the organization’s long-term goals and objectives and provides expertise through consultation for peers and leaders and contributes to broader organizational DEI efforts. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB), including in DEI program management and implementation
5+ years of experience with program management, including budget and expense management, stakeholder management and leading cross-functional teams
5+ years of experience with project management, including developing and executing project plans
3+ years of experience managing people and teams
Ability to demonstrate independent judgement and problem solving
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience correlating DEI programs and strategy into business impact
Experience leading organization-wide initiatives
Knowledge of change management
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication and public speaking skills
Ability to build strong relationships, drive influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels and functions
Ability to provide subject matter expertise to develop and design DEI programs
Ability to translate ideas and concepts into professional products
Bachelor’s degree DEI related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
