Position Summary: The Response and Exercise Specialist will interface with clients to ensure requested deliverables are obtained and troubleshoot any client or TRG issues as it relates to Response and Exercise. The incumbent will also provide support during emergency response incidents, client requests, and TRG directed activities.
Position Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate as a response member for immediate emergency response deployment as needed
- Develops and delivers accurate and professional Response/Exercise materials for clients
- Participates in the planning, executing, and finalizing client’s projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
- Keeps the Exercise Team Lead fully briefed and aware of all Exercise activities
- Interpret International, Federal & State regulations and apply them accordingly
- Monitor and identify industry regulation changes (state, federal & international) as well as trends and proposed legislation (federal and state)
Working Conditions:
- The position may require extended hours beyond the normal working hours

- Regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds, frequently lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications: Education & Experience:
- The position requires basic knowledge of contingency preparedness, exercise planning/design/development and crisis/response management systems, plans and processes. Conducts needs analysis, business analysis, design, development of current contingency preparedness, exercise planning/design/development, and crisis/response management procedures for clients
- The position requires a basic knowledge of the National Incident Management System and TRG preparedness and response planning systems and guidance
- The position requires intermediate knowledge and capability to work with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
- Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to travel internationally
- Preferred 4-year College Bachelor's Degree with 1 year experience in related field
- Knowledge of TRG preparedness and response planning systems, and tools or prior experience with TRG a plus
