Regional Sales Manager, Safe Digging and Vacuum Excavation
TERRITORY: COLORADO, USA

COMPENSATION:
1st Year of Employment: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 guaranteed
2nd Year of Employment +: Base salary + uncapped commission

SUMMARY:
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM), Safe Digging reporting to the Director of Sales for the Western United States will be responsible for the sale of various safe digging equipment, specializing in the Truvac product line. This role will oversee the full sales cycle for a diverse range of clients, construction companies, and industrial firms. This individual will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and extensive knowledge of the utility and/or hydro vac industry.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/ Certification:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract and possess OR have the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License Class “A”
- Medical screening as required by the US DOT and pass Drug/Alcohol test for CDL license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
Experience:
- Experience in a sales position, preferably in the heavy equipment or heavy truck industry
- Experience operating or selling hydro vac equipment is an asset
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs
- Experience and understanding of the full sales cycle (quote to delivery)
- Mechanical aptitude or previous exposure to a heavy equipment/heavy truck work environment is an asset
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Educate and train customers on the Truvac product lines, the applications, operation, and features/benefits
- The Regional Sales Manager must be capable of learning to operate all the Truvac products
- Complete Product Certification process and attend quarterly product field training events
- Establish professional relationships with contractors and end users within region
- Perform demonstrations and training within assigned region
- Provide recommendation to customers based on business needs, which may include selling of new or used equipment, and offering rental solutions
- Report win, lost, or pending (opportunities) sales through CRM
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling of customer visits, trade shows, demonstrations, sales calls and activities in company endorsed CRM software
- Conduct regional sales meetings as needed and participate in national sales meetings as required.
- Attend and coordinate regional trade shows
- Recommend product changes as well as new product ideas
- Submission of expense reports on a timely basis
- Assure timely follow up on company provided sales leads and ensure that status is updated into designated CRM program
- Attain and maintain sales certification for primary products/brands
- Other duties as assigned
