Overview
Axle is seeking a highly ambitious, adaptable, structured, and detail-oriented Scientific Program Manager to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Laboratory of Malaria Immunology and Vaccinology (LMIV), Division of Intramural Research (DIR).
Technical Requirements:

Coordinate clinical protocol development, review and implementation for clinical studies being performed at NIHCC and International field sites.

Monitor ongoing clinical studies, trails and operations.

Review clinical documentation and protocols, provides suggestions to improve study designs and execution.

Provide detailed reports for the Federal task leader upon request.

Participate in site visits as needed.

Evaluate, analyze and interpret research data, communicate results and methods in reports, presentations and manuscripts.

Provide support and mentors other clinicians, physician assistants and clinical coordinators on projects.
Specific Qualifications:
-
Medical degree from an accredited Medical school and be licensed to practice medicine.

Minimum of six (6) years of related experience is required.

Maintain a medical license in good standing.

Maintain NIH Clinical Center privileges and access to NIHCC specific databases.

Experience in human clinical study design and procedures for safely conducting malaria vaccine studies in African countries.

Able to obtain NIH credentialing.

Knowledgable in malaria vaccine clinical trial design and implementation.

Able to communicate in writing, speaking, and presentation of data to various audiences.

Knowledge of regulatory authorities for US and International as it pertains to the conduct of human clinical vaccine trials.
