The Therapist provides various services to juveniles in therapy. The Therapist is to develope and provide specific psychological assessments and interventions that is linked to clients overall treatment package. The Therapist may provide diagnosis and evaluation as an assessment of the nature and extent of a youth's physical, emotional, educational and behavioral problems and recommendations for treatment strategies to remedy the identical problems. Also, the Therapist will provide therapy which is a therapeutic relationship between the juvenile and counselor for the purpose of accomplishing changes that are identified as goals in the case plan through the use of various counseling or therapy techniques. Therapeutic services may be rendered as individual and/or group or family. The Therapist is to support the therapeutic milieu aimed at improving behavior and social functioning of clients.
Must hold a master's degree in criminal justice, social work, psychology.
Must be a certified licensed social worker in the state of Arkansas.
Must hold one of the following: LCSW, LPC, LAC OR LMSW.
