We are looking for an attorney with first party property damage insurance experience to work in the first party property damage division of our law firm. Experience with defense or plaintiff work is a plus but not required.
Your responsibilities will include client consultations, mediations, negotiations with carriers and a variety of other legal work regarding insurance claims. You would have a team of paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to work with as needed. Further details on the job description can be found here:
Case Management:
- Effectively manage a caseload of first-party insurance claims from inception to resolution.
- Conduct thorough legal research, gather evidence, and assess the viability of claims.
Client Advocacy:
- Provide exceptional legal representation and advocacy for clients in first-party insurance disputes.
- Communicate with clients regularly, keeping them informed about the status of their claims and legal proceedings.
Legal Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective legal strategies tailored to the unique circumstances of each case.
- Collaborate with internal teams and experts to build compelling arguments in support of plaintiff claims.
Negotiation and Settlement:
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies on behalf of clients, ensuring fair and just compensation.
- Evaluate settlement offers and provide strategic advice to clients on the best course of action.
Litigation:
- Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and pleadings, as necessary.
- Represent clients in court, presenting cases before judges and juries with confidence and professionalism.
