Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing mechanical components and systems. You will work closely with engineers and other team members to develop innovative solutions. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed designs for mechanical components and systems
- Create 2D and 3D models using Revit
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet project requirements
- Conduct research to identify new materials, technologies, and design techniques
- Perform calculations and analysis to validate design feasibility
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure successful implementation of designs
- Participate in design reviews and provide input for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles
- Proficient in mechanical design and assembly processes
- Experience with Revit and Piping Design
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
