Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our innovate team dedicated to the midstream of Sour Gas and other products. The HR Generalist will play a critical role in managing HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive work environment. This position is based in Houston, TX, and offers a competitive salary with excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
The HR Generalist position at Northwind Midstream Partners LLC provides support with the following roles:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
- Mediate and resolve employee disputes and grievances.
- Assist with Human Resource Management System (HRMS) implementation.
- Promote a positive work environment and culture.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues.
- Develop and facilitate performance improvement plans.
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and other sources.
- Ensure compliance with equal employment opportunity laws and practices.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices are compliant and effective.
- Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes affecting HR practices.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure effective onboarding processes.
- Support leadership development initiatives and succession planning.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compensation strategies.
- Ensure employees are informed about their benefits and compensation options.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Must have 5-10+ years of experience in Human Resources.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and recruitment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
