Job Summary:
Position: Los Angeles Operations Supervisor/ Manager
Requirements:
- California active Guard Card:
- Education: Minimum of a GED or high school diploma for reading, comprehension, and basic math skills.
- Citizenship: US citizenship with a valid Social Security Card and birth certificate.
- Procedural Knowledge: Ability to follow established procedures and policies, including enforcing client/company rules and regulations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including legible report writing.
- Customer Service: Providing high-quality customer service is crucial.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in staff scheduling time edits and analyzing reports, and solving client issues, then informing your action plan to corporate management.
- Independence and Attention to Detail: Capable of working independently or as part of a small group, paying attention to detail even under minimal supervision.
- Physical Abilities: The role may involve extended periods of sitting, walking, standing, and climbing stairs. You should also be able to respond promptly to alarms and emergencies.
- Reliability: Demonstrated strong work ethic and reliable transportation with a current driver’s license.
- Permits: Familiarity with applicable security guard or weapons permits.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Staff Scheduling: Manage a Large Los Angelas account, staff schedules and time edits.
- Reports Oversight: Oversee all security online Lighthouse reports and DARs, reporting events to corporate management and clients as appropriate.
- Training Programs: Continuously develop and provide training programs.
- Manual Maintenance: Develop on-site manuals and regularly review/update them.
- Meeting Attendance: Attend assigned meetings.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergency situations.
- Post Coverage: Manage daily staff schedules, filling posts if needed due to call-offs, and covering posts yourself until staff can relieve you as per account requirements.
- Uniform Policies: Oversee the uniform department and develop uniform policies.
- Policy Changes: Ensure that all policy or manual changes receive approval from Corporate management.
Organizational Structure:
- Reporting Line: Directly report to Corporate Regional management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with account Law Enforcment
- Other Directions: Receive guidance from clients and senior-level management.
- Military/Law Enforcement: Prior is recommended.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Time Management: Organizational and time management skills are important.

- Pay: Hourly pay ranges from $27.00/hr to $30.00/hr, with potential for pay increases and promotions based on performance.
