Job Overview:
StarBright Applied Behavior Analyst is seeking dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapists to join our team. As an ABA Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Your primary responsibility will be to implement 1:1 applied behavior analysis techniques to help clients develop essential skills and improve their quality of life.
Duties:
- Follow the treatment plan created by the BCBA
- Implement behavior intervention strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior change
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with clients, following the treatment plan and collecting data on client progress
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, caregivers, and other professionals, to ensure coordinated care
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior support plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client sessions, progress, and any relevant observations
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of behavioral therapy
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma is required (Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred)
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to collect data accurately
- Understanding of behavioral health ethics and professional boundaries

Pay: $18.04 - $22.47 per hour
