Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, with a focus on technical sales and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively service inbound requests from customers via phone and email
- Prepare quotes and follow up to convert to sales orders daily
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, coordinating with other departments and vendors as needed to exceed customer expectations
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to generate leads and drive sales
- Engage in warm calling to establish rapport with customers
- Negotiate and close sales deals
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process
- Utilize CRM software to track leads and sales activities
- Contribute to market research and analysis
Experience:
- Experience selling lumber and other building materials preferred
- Proven experience in outbound calling, telemarketing, or technical sales
- Strong business development skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Familiarity with sales techniques and negotiation strategies
- Proficiency in using CRM software like Salesforce is a plus
