**Financial Forecasting Analyst**

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Financial Forecasting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, supporting quarterly spend forecasts, ensuring financial data accuracy, and managing tracking, reporting, and quality control processes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, supporting quarterly spend forecasts, ensuring financial data accuracy, and managing tracking, reporting, and quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Documentation
- Develop and maintain training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), risk assessment documents, best practices, wikis/hubs, and other relevant documentation.
B. Forecast Support with Spend Forecast Manager (SFM)
- Provide quarterly support for uploading forecast spreadsheets into SFM.
- Update and review syntax in SFM for both build and non-build projects.
- Continuously clean up financial data to ensure the accuracy of financial reports, including mapping POs, forecasting POs, linking planned spend to POs, and using shared product codes.
- Maintain the forecast baseline in the SFM tool.
C. Tagging & Burn-Down for Build/Non-Build Planned Spends
- Support budget maintainers in updating SFM planned spend items to reflect necessary changes and updates in syntax.
- Coordinate with project coordinators, budget owners, and S&O teams to ensure the accuracy of reporting for forecasting, budgeting, and build data.
- Report on progress, highlight issues, and provide solutions.
D. Tracking, Reporting & Maintenance
- Develop and maintain a dashboard of finance data to support accuracy and ongoing tracking.
- Conduct weekly/monthly data integrity checks, including clean-up, mapping, forecasting, linking, and updating syntax.
- Provide supportive analytics and tracking.
E. Quality Control & SFM Integrity
- Perform periodic quality checks of invoices for accuracy and ensure the receipt of any deliverable or service greater than $100k.
- Ensure PO detail accuracy in alignment with best practices and templates, including dates received, amounts, descriptions, etc., to facilitate ease of forecasting and updating in the SFM tool.
- Maintain integrity between finance tools (e.g., esbase) and SFM.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in financial forecasting, documentation, and data management.
- Strong proficiency with financial tools and software, including Spend Forecast Manager (SFM).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standard of data accuracy and integrity.
