We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team as an Associate Project Manager. This position will help oversee the management of commercial retail property’s rebuilds and designs. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of highly versatile and talented retail partners, executive team members, and leaders at several levels of ASHLEY network.
This position will be in charge of managing the design and rebuild of retail stores, liaising with and managing our third-party partners and vendors, and reporting to our Leadership team. This role will also act as a liaison between vendors and the management team during construction or remodeling projects, coordinating inspections, plan reviews, and completed construction work with the respective teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and report an overall project execution plan, ensuring adherence to strict schedules and budget constraints
- Create and monitor detailed project schedules and work with leadership team to project resource allocations
- Produce accurate and reliable project cost estimates and work with relevant partners
- Maintain a working knowledge of general conditions, work scope, and specifications of the project and keeping all project team members fully informed on the project status
- Plan ahead to prevent problems, resolving any emerging issues before they become problems, and identifying and managing risks
- Ensure all required compliance is adhered to and all inspections are completed timely.
- Preferred proficiency using softwares and tools like CRM, NetSuite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Planswift/Bluebeam
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management (Preferred), or related field.
- 2+ years of project management experience. Retail experience is a plus!
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Willing to work in a highly dynamic work environment and able to multi-task between multiple projects.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Compensation Starting at $65,000+
