Job Description:
As Inspections Manager, your primary responsibility will be the oversight and management of assigned property inspectors and daily scheduling of inspection tasks to ensure all properties exceed CFY Standard Property Appearance guidelines and that contract cleaners are held to the highest level for cleanliness. This also includes working directly with our Maintenance, Dispatch, and Owner Account Managers to ensure reported maintenance issues are prioritized accordingly for quick resolution. This position is also responsible for working hands-on with all property inspectors to ensure they are properly trained and equipped to perform their assigned tasks in all Cabins for YOU property zones. This is a working position with an expectation that 40% of working hours will be in the field.
This position is classified as non-exempt and reports directly to the Director of TN Operations.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
- Pre-schedule property inspections with assigned employees prioritizing by level of importance
- Monitor and track all Owner Arrivals updating employees of previous owner complaints before inspection
- Schedule Pre Owner Arrival inspections days in advance so issues can be addressed if needed
- Create Breezeway tasks and assign for Owner Stay Gifts to be delivered as needed
- Monitor and track all property inspections to ensure each property is inspected at least once a month
- Inspect High Priority Owner Arrivals
- Monitor company email accounts and respond promptly
- Monitor Breezeway tasks and assign them to employees as needed
- Monitor the number of assigned inspections vs. the number of completed inspections per day per employee paying close attention to how they are spending their time
- Report the previous day's inspection stats on Ops Morning Call
- Review daily logs from Verizon Connect to make sure routes are consistent with completed inspections
- Review all complaints from completed inspections and address any issues with the employee
- Review completed inspection tasks in Breezeway to ensure property inspections are answered correctly and provide required information
- Make sure employees comply with the OSHA regulations and train employees when needed
- Perform random inspections on properties to make sure employees are reporting all issues found
- Scheduling and overseeing deep clean inspections and property inventory counts
Weekly / Bi-Weekly Tasks:
- Process Payroll for Assigned Employees:
- Review and Approve Time Cards making sure time punches are correct
- Review and Approve Mileage Reimbursement Requests as needed
- Input/Update Employee Schedules
- Approve or Deny Time off Requests based on departmental needs
- Attend scheduled meetings and give updates from the Inspections department
- Review detractor property feedback and increase inspections as needed
Monthly Tasks:
- Host monthly departmental meetings and training sessions with all property inspectors to review company updates and departmental changes
- Provide detailed report to Director of TN Operations of performance of all property inspectors and areas of improvement
- Inspect assigned properties and provide detailed reports to the Owner Account Manager and Director of TN Operations
As Needed Tasks:
- Interview, hire, and train all new employees and make sure correct paperwork is completed and turned in to the human resource department
- Meet with Property Owners and Departmental Managers as needed and follow up on any reported issues or concerns
- Schedule inspections associated with Deep Cleans and Master Inventory Counts per property

- Experience:
- Required: 1-2 years of management experience in the vacation rental industry
- Preferred: 3+ years of management experience in vacation rental industry
- Education:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Working Conditions:
- The physical demands of this job include but are not limited to sitting for long periods working on a computer with multiple screens, driving to and from properties, and performing property inspections which may include light cleaning tasks, walking up and down stairs, squatting, or standing for long periods.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
